Student Spotlight

Alek Kesselring is a Junior from Moundsville, WV who is currently majoring in Accounting.

What activities are you involved in at WVU?
WVU Arts and Entertainment - Artists relations Intern and Booking Intern. Also Mountaineer Maniacs

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like staying active, whether that be hiking, kayaking, playing sports or lifting weights.

What impresses you most about WVU?
The amount of opportunities each student has at West Virginia University is unmatched.

What has been your greatest challenge?
I think many other students can relate to this when I say, one of my greatest challenges would have to be finding the perfect balance between Social Life, School, Work, and Personal Development.

What is your favorite class and why?
History 210 - Modern Military History, Professor Alexander Burns makes the class so enjoyable.

What has been your favorite memory since being here?
FallFest 2017, It was my first show working as an Intern for WVU Arts and Entertainment.

What is your favorite spot on campus or in Morgantown?
Either the Student Recreation Center, or Mario’s Fishbowl.

What do you want to do after graduation?
I plan on becoming a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and working in the Entertainment industry.
