Connor LaCount is a Sophomore from South Charleston, WV who is currently majoring in Political Science.
What activities are you involved in at WVU?
I’m a member of the forensics club and I enjoy supporting our many sports teams.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
After a long week, I like to curl up with a Dr. Pepper and a good movie.
What impresses you most about WVU?
The professors are so dedicated and helpful. They really want to help you succeed and learn.
What has been your greatest challenge?
Silencing the voice in my head telling me to put off my work another hour.
What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class I’ve had so far is History 464, it doesn’t get much more interesting than the Cold War.
What has been your favorite memory since being here?
My favorite memory would definitely be wing Wednesdays at Arnold dining hall during my freshman year.
What is your favorite spot on campus or in Morgantown?
The student rec center is so nice, even if I don’t make it there as much as I should.
What do you want to do after graduation?
I’d like to work for the government in some capacity.
