We know our Student Life team likes a friendly competition, so we have you covered with several activities to choose from.

  • Groups will be color coded as they enter the conference. Designation on Nametag – 4 teams ~30 people
  • Groups will have some time before the activity to get with their team and decide who is doing what activity.
  • SRC staff will be stationed at each area to assist with score keeping/winners and explain any rules.
  • Teams/individuals will play mini tournaments and then winners will be reported back.
  • Each activity will be ranked and the team that does the best all-around wins.
  • Disc Golf – 9 per team – 36 slots total
    • Groups of 9 will scramble and walk the disc golf course on campus and try to get discs into the nets to score points.
  • Volleyball – 8 per team – 32 slots total – or could be wallyball
    • 2 teams of 6 people each will play volleyball on the upper courts of the rec center. This opportunity allows a more laid-back yet fun version of competition.
  • Pickleball – 4 per team – 16 slots total (out of the 4 they will have one team, can switch players between rounds)
    • The fastest growing sport in the world! Paddles will be provided to include anyone looking to try out Pickleball. Depending on good weather, play will happen at the Towers Pickleball Courts.
  • Cornhole – 4 per team – 16 slots total
    • A low impact game that is perfect for those not interested in the other games. Teams of 2 will try to knock each other's bags off the board. Weather depending, cornhole has the option to be in the grass outside of the rec center or inside in the free zone.
