SELECTION CRITERIA

Student Life Hall of Fame

Selection Criteria:

  • Nominee must be a retired or former WVU employee
  • Nominee must possess 10+ years of service to Student Life at WVU
  • Nominee must have made an exceptional contribution(s) to Student Life at WVU during his /her time of employment

Up to three nominees may be inducted into the Student Life Hall of Fame each year. Posthumous nominations will be accepted provided a family member will be present at the reception. Spouses/partners may be nominated together if both individuals have made a significant impact on Student Life at WVU. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Submission Deadline: Nominations are typically made in the fall. Please check back for updates.

Outstanding Achievement Award

Selection Criteria:

  • Nominee must a graduate of West Virginia University
  • Nominee must not have been an employee of the West Virginia University Division of Student Life but may be an employee of West Virginia University
  • Nominee must serve as an outstanding role model for young adults

Only one Student Life Outstanding Achievement Award is given each year. Posthumous nominations will be accepted provided a family member will be present at the reception. Spouses/partners may be nominated together if both individuals have made a significant impact on Student Life at WVU. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
